The complete LIGANOVA toolset of holistic solutions made sustainability measurable, and optimization inevitable.

The “Stan Smith, Forever” campaign included design engineering, production, project management, implementation, and sustainability consulting. The campaign extended across 23 retail stores in Europe – including flagship stores in London, Barcelona, Madrid, and Berlin – making a huge impact.

Sustainability transformation steps

  • All materials were chosen to be as sustainable as possible, from recycled plastic to cardboard, and no materials containing PVC were used.
  • Application of fit-to-size packaging methods minimized waste, resulting in overall CO2 savings of more than 60% (compared to a sports industry benchmark based on multiple projects).
  • At the end of the campaign, the majority of the materials were introduced into our resource cycle, providing them with another life.
  • The large visuals were made from green bottle caps, which we rented from a PET bottle manufacturer. The bottle caps were returned after the campaign runtime, and reused after being cleaned.
